Who we are

MouseURL is operated by an independent sole proprietor. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean its operator. You can reach us at support@mouseurl.com. We answer by email within one business day.

Accounts and workspaces

You need to be at least 18 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to create an account.

Your links, bio pages, domains, and analytics live in a workspace. Every workspace has one owner. The owner can invite people as admins, who manage members, API keys, domains, and links, or as members, who work on links and analytics.

Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else got into your account. You are responsible for what happens in workspaces you own or manage.

What MouseURL does

MouseURL makes short links that send visitors to a destination you choose, with optional rules by country, device, time, or an A/B split; bio pages with buttons and a Shop block that links to marketplace listings; QR codes; analytics of clicks and views; and custom domains for all of these.

We work to keep MouseURL available and fast, but we do not promise that it will be free of interruptions or errors.

What you may not do

You may not use MouseURL to:

  • send people to malware, phishing, or other pages meant to deceive or harm them;
  • share content that is illegal where you or your visitors are, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • send spam or hide where a link really goes in order to get around another service's rules;
  • overload, probe, or attack MouseURL or the people who use it.

We check destinations against Google Web Risk before a link or bio page is saved or published, and we may refuse a destination it flags. We may disable a link, a bio page, a domain, or an account that breaks these rules. When we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

Custom domains

You can connect a domain you control. A subdomain connects with one CNAME record at your DNS provider. An apex domain connects by pointing its nameservers to the ones we give you; we then manage every DNS record of that domain for you, so add any other records you need through us.

The domain stays yours. Its registration, its renewal, and its DNS are your responsibility. If the record or the nameservers no longer point to us, links on that domain stop working.

Links never die

A link you published keeps redirecting after your subscription ends: the workspace moves to the free Nibble plan and the link keeps working, even if the workspace is over the Nibble limits. Nothing you published is deleted because a plan ended.

A redirect ends only when:

  • you disable or delete the link, or it reaches an expiry date you set;
  • the link breaks these terms or we are required to remove it by law or a court or government order;
  • it is on a custom domain whose DNS no longer points to us.

If MouseURL ever stops operating:

  • we announce it by email to every workspace owner and on mouseurl.com, and from that day we take no new sign-ups and no renewals;
  • the service and every redirect keep running until the last paid period of each workspace ends, and in every case for at least 6 months after the announcement;
  • nothing is refunded, because no paid period is cut short;
  • on the day the service ends for a workspace, we email its owner an export of the workspace's links, bio pages, and analytics as CSV files, with our thanks.

Plans, trials, and prices

Nibble is free. Whisker, Scurry, and Cheese are paid plans, billed monthly or yearly. The current limits and prices are on the pricing page. Prices follow the country you buy from, in rupiah or in US dollars.

First Taste is a 14-day trial of Scurry, once per workspace, without a card. When it ends without a purchase, the workspace moves to Nibble.

Extras are add-on packs a paid workspace can buy on top of its plan. Their contents and prices are shown before you buy.

Once billing opens, payments in US dollars are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record, and payments in rupiah by Midtrans. We may change prices; a change applies to your next billing period, and we tell you by email at least 14 days before.

Changing or ending a plan

An upgrade starts at once. A downgrade or a cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. Nothing is deleted when it does: links, bio pages, domains, and members over the new limits keep working, and you can add more once you are within them. Features the new plan does not include turn off.

Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

Ending your account

You can ask us to delete a workspace you own, or your account, at any time by writing to support@mouseurl.com. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we tell you why unless the law stops us.

Your data and exports

What you put into MouseURL stays yours. You can export your links and your analytics as CSV from the dashboard. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Disclaimers and limits

MouseURL is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited by contract.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. If we disagree about something, write to us first and we will try to settle it together. If that does not work, the dispute goes to the courts of Indonesia, unless the law of your country gives you the right to go to your own courts.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms in a way that matters, we email workspace owners at least 14 days before the change takes effect and update the date at the top of this page.
